About this boat
The Explora 60 ft is a 60 ft catamaran, so it sits steady on the water and opens up a broad deck where up to 40 guests can spread out. One cabin is available below, but the real draw is outside, which makes it popular for company days, birthdays and New Year's Eve. It is one of our most affordable catamarans, from 1,549 AED per hour with the crew and fuel, sailing from Dubai Harbour Yacht Club.
One, two or three hours?
In one hour (1,549 AED) the captain usually takes you past Bluewaters and Ain Dubai, along JBR and Dubai Marina, with the outer crescent of Palm Jumeirah on the horizon. Two hours (3,098 AED) are enough to reach Atlantis The Palm and see the Burj Al Arab from the water. Three hours (4,647 AED) give you time to drop anchor, swim and take things slowly. The captain sets the final route according to the sea state and Coast Guard instructions. These are starting prices as of October 2026; rates vary with the season and the date.
What your hourly rate covers
The essentials cost nothing extra: the boat, a professional skipper and crew, fuel, bottled water, ice and soft drinks are all part of the price. On board there is a fridge, a microwave, basic cutlery and a Bluetooth speaker system, so you can bring your own food, drinks and playlist. If you want more, our team can add decorations, catering, a live BBQ chef or water toys such as jet skis on request.
Occasions it suits
- Corporate charters – a meeting, a client visit or a team reward outside the usual office setting.
- Birthdays at sea – room for the cake, a speaker and the group photo, on a deck that is yours alone.
- Evening parties – music on deck with Dubai Marina and JBR lit up all around you.
- New Year's Eve – the midnight fireworks seen from the sea, far from the crowds on shore.
When to go
The cooler months, roughly from October or November to April, are the most pleasant time to be on the water. From May to September, plan your trip for the morning, for sunset or after dark, when the heat is easier to handle. When the shamal, the strong north-westerly wind, makes the sea rough, the Coast Guard may advise against sailing and your trip is moved to another slot.
Reserving the Explora 60 ft
Pick a date and a start time on our online booking form. Your slot is secured as soon as the agreed deposit is paid, and the balance is settled before you sail. Dubai Coast Guard rules require every guest to show an original passport or a valid Emirates ID at boarding.

Up to 40 guests can come on board.
Is fuel included in the price?
Yes. Fuel, the captain and crew, bottled water, ice and soft drinks are all included. Decorations, catering, a BBQ chef and water sports can be added for an extra charge.
Are we allowed to bring food and alcohol?
You can bring your own food and drinks, and the fridge, microwave and cutlery are yours to use. Alcohol is only for guests aged 21 and over, and the captain may stop it if safety requires. Check the drinks policy with our team when you book.
What ID do guests need?
An original passport or a valid Emirates ID for each guest. Photos or scans on a phone are usually refused.
Where do we board?
At Dubai Harbour Yacht Club for most trips. With your confirmation we send a Google Maps pin for the exact berth.

This was THE BEST SERVICE EVER! Thank you to the crew and the captain for all their help. We have a birthday party and the crew was sooo nice. They helped setting the tables and they were great with the kids and the waterslide. They packed all our stuff neatly and offloaded everything while we were getting the kids ready. We have been on alot of cruises and we have never experienced such great service from the crew. They came fully prepared. Great! Great! Great!
