Drive a Jet Car in Dubai

Pick a date, a time and a 20, 30 or 60-minute ride. Before setting off, everyone gets a safety briefing and a life jacket from the team; then you drive the car yourself along the Dubai coast. Any other details are confirmed by our team when you book.

• Lamborghini-style jet car – the mid-priced option, for up to 4 people.
• Pink jet car – the lowest rates, from 649 AED for 20 minutes.

The experience is the same in all three, so most people decide on budget and group size.

Our team confirms the minimum age for drivers when you book. Across the Dubai market in general (this is not a Gold Water Yachts rule), guided jet car rides need no driving licence, start with a safety briefing and require life jackets for everyone, and the minimum driver age is usually between 16 and 18 depending on the operator. Children normally ride as passengers with an adult. The ride is not recommended during pregnancy or for anyone with a serious back, neck or heart condition, and you should bring valid ID.

Since a jet car ride is short, many groups combine it with a yacht trip: hours of relaxing on deck, then a few fast minutes at the wheel. You can add it as an extra on the booking page.

The main yachting season in Dubai lasts from about October or November until April, with daytime highs of 24 to 34 °C. Summer brings 38 to 42 °C and sea water of around 30 °C, so morning, sunset and evening departures are the most comfortable. When the shamal, the strong north-westerly wind, roughens the sea, the Coast Guard may advise against sailing and the trip is moved to another time.

We confirm your booking when the agreed deposit arrives; the rest is paid before you sail. Additional hours and services are billed on top. A no-show, or arriving so late that the departure is missed, is not refunded. If extreme weather or a Dubai Coast Guard order prevents the trip, we postpone or reschedule it, and a mechanical problem entitles you to a full refund or a new date.
